Gul Yasa was born in İstanbul 

She earned every degree in painting from fine arts faculty of Mimar Sinan University in 1994.

She has been awarded 'Sakip Sabanci Art Award' (Sakip Sabanci Arts Award) the same year. 

She was also awarded with "Contribution to Art Award" (Contribution to Art) for her related work in this field in 1997.

Yasa completed her Master's Thesis in Akdeniz University between 2003-2006.

She continued her work in painting and art field in Antalya.

She joined several local and international joint and private art exhibitions and activities including 6 that was dedicated for her own work. 

Many private collections feature her art work.
