'' Fragile-looking robust parts ''

Creating by destroying the existing structure became my way of intersecting through different ways of seeing in this period when design approached art and art approached design. My habit of simplifying what came out of my graphic design-based education started working to disassemble these simplified wholes and re-integrate each piece by reconstructing it. As I disassembled and re-integrated the forms I loved, these new wholes, which were formed by the fact that each piece is a form alone and not repeating each other within itself, preserving their traces of the past, found life with copper. When this highly conductive metal meets the flame, it reveals many colors and draws attention to the limitlessness of creation as the colors change over and over again. I shape each piece I work with copper and stainless by cutting and bending it myself, then I boil them to each other. These forms aiming to catch a poetic order are fragile but solid wholes.

He was born in Istanbul. After completing the Graphic Design Department of the A.Ü.GSF, she attended the design program at Boston Massachusetts College of Art. He started his sculptural studies in the workshop of the sculptor Seçkin Pirim and continued in the workshop of sculptor Yunus Tonkuş. He participated in group sculpture exhibitions in An Art Center, Pi Artworks and Arte Istanbul. He completed his master's degree in Art Criticism and Theory at Işık University. He graduated in the same period with his thesis titled "The Phenomenon of the End of Art from Hegel to Derrida", which is a contemporary art study he prepared. He continues his work in his workshop in Beyoğlu.
